I am Watching Monk on Netflix. It is a very original series, played with excellence by Tony Shalhoub. I told all my friends to watch it , though it is a14 years old program. It is much better than much of the new ones

I came to the party late with Monk (after the show had ended), but binged it like crazy. I'm a big fan of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but found his character to have too many similarities with Monk. Either way, he's still enjoyable to watch on screen.
Abe may be neurotic, but I don't think he has that much in common with Monk. He's much more functional, is willing to change (after an initial period of moping), and is much more confident. I can't see Monk doing calethetics on a dock while drinking tomato juice or threatening to stab someone in the eye with a cheese knife.
I want to get his series Mrs. Maisel. Is this available on dvd ?
