my own kits i make are available at wavsupply.net and all my social media is pretty much @nickmira_
luh yall turn up
I have love for everyone that opened this video with an open mind. Thank you for stopping by my brain today. Talk to me in the comments!
Sometimes even just watching a producer cook up can help with beat block I’ve noticed.
thats rly true too
Fact 💯
So real
Because beat block stems from lack of inspiration!!
💯
Can we all just appreciate how great this man really is? You’re teacher in this world and it’s so great you share your ideas and tips to everyone. GOAT
i appreciate your support and love on this video
Wait this is so true
Van Gogh once said “If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint', then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.” I have found this to be genuinely helpful advice.
nuh uh
DOPE, BLESS YOU
At the beginning when he was talking abt how the sample inspired him, I was thinking abt how cool it is how it can turn into a whole new vibe from an idea, even sampling big parts of things it can feel very different in the end. Very cool part of producing. A lot of great tips in here as always! Keep these up nick ‼️
key takeaway of this video!
nuh uh u weren’t thinking that
Thank you for the music and inspiration Nick. I really appreciate you sharing your skills and wisdom with us all. ❤
i was looking for benji
stick in the dirt like doodie@@miratouch999
Agreed ^^ always learn something from your process
you’re one of the reasons why I started making beats, thank you Nick for this kind of videos!
thank u for this kind of support
nick always got me sitting here screaming "HOW DOES HE DO IT". much love nick your an amazing teacher
dont wake up the neighbors
Thanks for so many videos latley man, we all appreciate it so much
Thank you for so many comments lately man i appreciate the support so much
@@miratouch999 been watching since 2017 and i aint goin anywhere! 🍻
not tryna glaze but the amount of impact you've had in the music industry is incomprehensible. been watching you since 2018 internet money tutorials.
i appreciate that. i also think the "music industry" is kind of a cloudy space and funny term i just like to look from an outsiders view at music in general
@@miratouch999 yeah, i see how that could come across as disingenuous considering the amount of shit you see attached to the “music industry”. just music in general is what i meant bc the amount of time it takes to create your own distinct sound where someone knows who produced/recorded on the beat/song within a couple seconds of pressing play is very sought after.
dang… i’ve been looking for a video that isn’t super simple that just quickly walks through the process of someone who’s good at this. beautiful stuff. thank you!
am i the only one that was absolutely mind blown by the Patcher portion of the video.. like damn
More Patcher Content on the way ????? LMK
@@miratouch999 bro i was sitting here hands on my face mouth open like 😱 SHOW US MORE GOAT
Story of my life rn
We will get through this together.
@@miratouch999 thanks for inspiration bro🔥
what I find helps is switching up the types of melodies I make because its easy to be creative when you are trying something newer and not something you’ve done before. Or just find things to sample on youtube
Agreed. very important and u spitting some game ^
@@miratouch999 💜🙏
Nick spit god level sauce like the first 30 seconds that's literally all you need to know just stay consistent that's how you get good.
Preciate that its just a pretty simple philosophy that i dont see any harm in trying to approach
Nick you’re doing great, it’s so nice watching someone I consider one of the best producers in the world making beats exactly the same way I do, just trying to find something that sounds cool and finish the idea. You’re doing something good, want you to know that
Perfect timing on this vid, thanks as always Nick 💛
im glad !
It's crazy how we’re basically getting a masterclass from someone who has achieved heights in music that we dream of everyday. Thank you soo much bro 😭🥹
Lets all create every day and find out what kinda crazy fire we can create
Watched this before going to bed and its the one thing that made my entire day. Thank you for the inspiration
sending love homie. thank u for letting me know how it impacted you family
Man, this is my first time in years since watching Nick cook up. Bro was like BNYX back in 2017-18. Crazy how time flies.
Love ya man! Just started 10 days ago and youve helped me soung great fast. Appreciate all you do
From one nick to another, watching you cook up always cures my block. Great video g👌💯
your in the box skills are very impressive, Im not a FL user but your skill with FL is refreshing.
i gotta use some other DAWs too some time
@@miratouch999 yeah same. you got me hooked on fl when i saw you using it when i was in the 7th grade.
You're such an awesome producer man! Thanks for this!

human . thank u for the support man !
You're name rings bells, but here you are giving tips to people trying to get started or inspired. You're doing a good deed out here and we all appreciate what you do.
took a long break from beats and i think that helped me gather a lot of ideas but i love the technique of listening to samples as inspiration, definitely using that thanks
your too goated to be dropping gems like this thank you man fr, you make these videos quick i just pause and follow
This man is inspiring thousands every day, much love Nick
thank u for letting me know that and speaking up
2:15 watching you flip the order just unlocked so much for me
order flipping >>>>>
I love that you added that clip of Pharrell talking about creativity. creativity comes to you, not the other way around. Just sit down and enjoy the process with no expectations!
I am amazed everytime i was nick cooking up beats. Like HOW??????
The streams and these short vids been helping me hella new ideas and im back to really enjoying making music again all thanks to you brother, thankyou!
Much love is going out to that Smurf in the bottom right corner! Got me into beatmaking a couple of years ago, since then music got me into places and I love it :P Keep it up!
That melody flip was nice. I was chasing your vibe for sure.

Nick lowkey the man of people
you're awesome man
thank ya for ur work, you're a great teacher, you're like a good friend explaining sum good stuff when I need it most
thank u for ur support and love
My biggest issue is i have a nice melody at work in my head...its usually a piano melody and i got no way to jot it down. I have fl Studio mobile on my phone but if i pull it out ill get sent home. My point in saying all this is to agree with you!! Everytime i make a beat im jotting down what im hearing in my head and it helps me stay energetic. Thanks for posting Nick. I appreciate you.
music theory problem it seems
Commenting on this to send love, thank you for everything that you do bro
Thank you Nick for sharing this! Your videos & live streams help me show up as a producer everyday, even when I don’t feel like it 🍀
I'm loving the youtube grind lets goooooo awesome tip at 2:50 about sound selection.
bro preciate you for these vids, for a while i felt like i was just making the same beat over and over but i finally dont feel like that anymore
thats awesome man i hope you can keep on trying to make stuff outside the box
This was dope bro! Thanks for dropping these gems!
Nick what you said is so true, someday we like what we make and someday we don't, no such things like beat block true ..
but every day we are gifted and blessed to be able to create
@@miratouch999 yes sir love your videos and music
This man is a living legend
the jersey club drums were so cool with those bells and melody
the beat is fire 🔥and those little tip are really helpful please dont stop
gotta keep going
love u homie ur inspiring me a lot

It’s been a solid 4 months since I’ve even touched FL or my setup in general. Got this in my recommended and I think I’m ready to get back to it. Preciate you Nick 📈
We’re so lucky to have u Nick fr🙌🏼🙌🏼
NEVER KNEW WATCHING NICK MIRA COOKING WAS SO SOOTHING
Big inspiration Mira ! Thank you
thank u for that coup !
When he flipped the order of the melody I began floating
When you flipped your fingers to type this i began levitating
Another educational video...i am definetely learning a lot by watching these
im glad to hear that! it makes me want to keep making more
Appreciate these vids so much man, especially coming from one of my fav producers lol
Biggest inspiration hands down.
If you have a blockage I think it is essential to listen to music, and when you listen to new songs much better, that is what I usually do, and it helps a lot
You saved my life fr thank you Mr Mira
Just the way Nick flows through FL makes you wanna cook up lol
Another high quality video from brother Mira
always love watching a master at work
i am far from mastery but thank u !
@@miratouch999 yooo thats crazy i wasnt expecting you to respond at all, keep up the great stuff man fr fr, any shot i can send you beats to listen to or songs, id really appreciate any feedback on them
This beat is crazyyy hard, drums went crazy
Hey Nick, I notice in some of your tutorials you use earbuds a lot when making beats, is there a reason you use earbuds? And do you try to take care of your ears when exposed to loud music for a long time?
they have the microphone built into them thats why i like them. i also try not to cookup on max volume as much as possible. i save the really loud volume for the car or concerts
It's been a vibe to watch Nick cook up in these videos. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
its been a vibe to have you in the comments
@@miratouch999 Thanks Nick! ♥
thank you mr.Mira for teaching us.
thank you for stopping by and watching

Professor Nick dropping knowledge!
nick fr out here inspiring millions to be a producer
hopefully everyone gets more talented together
@@miratouch999 it’s not hard to do when learning from the best 🫶🙌
Nick-Sensei, you should open a producer school, it would be the first school I would go to without forcing myself 😃😃. Your tips are really helpful, it's like a short meditation watching one of your videos :))
yezzir fire 🔥 i don't blame you for finding loops to inspire or watching your favorite producer. I have to keep myself motivated to keep going and to not burn out easily. Doing this tip you showed us will definitely help change ways of making melodies 🔥🔥 Preicate it
honestly theres nothing wrong with it
people are quick to try and guilt other people for using starters and loops
People who hate on Splice or Samples are just being narrow-minded. It’s like a big record store. Always cool to find some missing piece or ideas for your track. Apologies if I don't have a gospel choir on speed dial or a $600 Kontakt bank lol
best thing u can do during beatblock is searching any retro songs like gta vice city radios and trying to make something similar, its nice to experiment if u cant do trap or smh u like to do often
I can’t help but geek over the beat
The method using the patcher only on the eq and how you manuevered that was fire bro you should make a video just on that. This fucking beat is crazy ❤🔥
I deem it necessary to acquire additional knowledge before embarking on a tutorial about Patcher.
Thanks for always inspiring us to keep going
thanks for watching me make a goofy ass beat
I tend too cook up w people on discord in the vc and it inspires me to keep cookin, I don’t like cookin up by myself
wow i really like that melody
Dude your beats launch me back into 2018 I swear to god
Someone told me recently my style reminds them of nick mira and that was the biggest compliment I’ve ever gotten
This video helped me make one of the best damn beats ill ever make in my life
thanks bro, this rly helps 🔥🔥

any merch coming out soon? would love 2 make sum mock ups 4 you.
Bro listening/watching you produce brings back some nostalgic memories from back in the day when times were happier and simpler.
Soon ill be looking into expand my plugins a little and or maybe upgrading to fl all plugins. Kontakt has been on my radar ever since ive messed with the free version but Im also looking for a good soft synth like pigments, serum, or something. I think i have enough effects plugins for now, mostly free, but im curious what are your top picks for either instruments/generators and effects plugins from FL and third parties?
i like analog lab , omnisphere, electra x,
You on another level using patcher 🤯
