Touchpad is the best. I used to use mouse forever but since using touchpad I found it makes the whole process more fluid with using shortcuts easier due to both ur hands being in close to the keys at all times. Would defs recommend 👌
trackpads are lowkey so amazing for daws. I love being able to just pinch to zoom in and out instead of fiddling with the keyboard or a scroll wheel. super precise and easy
was just thinking that, just need the right kit so they always go well together I think, cause my soundselection sounds like shit sometimes doing this, if anyone recommends good kits that always sound good?

As a guy who's trying to learn music after decades of not being able to remember lyrics, your videos (especially this one from today) have been such a treat. Thanks for sharing your outlook on this stuff, Nick! Big respect to your work and your consideration for the craft.
@@atetraxx Idk just never been able to remember lyrics despite reading em 100x over. Same goes for scripts back in university when I would try to prep for presentations. After some head injuries, it just makes it impossible these days. Learning about melodies and rhythm has helped make music more approachable for me in spite of those limitations.
Thank you nick you're always posting at the perfect times, I've been trying to sample and extract instruments using this ai program and it's decent, but your way looks so much easier. I had no clue u could do it through FL itself😂

Not sure why I would watch a 15 min video of a side angle of you producing some mid beats that will never get released, you dont show the DAW at all, theres no soundboard audio, I'm legitimately concerned at this point.
