I played an Emperor in a game with an Enkidu. It was straight up not fair. The Walk of Kings + Ayah of the Syzygy on top of a feral Enkidu is straight up nasty.
Enkidu (if played right) should have consequences for it's pilot for all the absolute SHENANIGANS it can do. Like stress within the Bonds system or not being able to do downtime activities due to needing time to recover. Enkidu makes you shine bright. But only when you BURN.

Step one: Take Pegasus, give it two autoguns and a heavy of your choice Step two: Take Dominions Breadth Step three: You can now turn your omnigun into 2 AP energy with an area of effect since you'll only ever skirmish on your turn, leaving you with a spare quick action to apply Dominions Breadth to anyone. Have fun.
Dominion's Breadth when combined with the Pegasus's Omnigun can turn your enemies into bombs as a quick action every turn, for more guaranteed damage to everyone involved. It's definitely the best 1-level combo I've found so far.
So.... Emperor and Enkidu, anyone? The melee monstrosity that encourages allies keep their distance, the overshield support that wants to shoot allies and enemies from as far as possible.
i play this thing in a game I'm in unfortunately, due to what i can only describe as either damage inflation or an arm's race between the players and DM, the average enemy does enough damage to blow through its overshield cap in one good shot, so the dm let me remove that part lol
oh yeah it does work great for that in like, normal play, the game is just gotten well out of hand from the base ruleset most of the bosses are actually groups of PC lancers under GM control among other things, we had a boss who had a gun that bypassed overshield, thankfully I'd coincidentally swapped to a different chassis as part of a running joke about running a useless frame
@@kapmando it funny you bring this up because enkidu and emperor it a great team combo like enkidu and gilgamesh from mythology and in mythology enkidu was made by the gods to kill gilgamesh but during there first fight they quickly became friends and equals and a serious power couple together against many powerful foes

Surprised it isn't named Gilgamesh, cus' it plays great with Enkidu.
Maybe some day there's will be a variant of this frame named Gilgamesh in a later supplement

Well, the point isn't completely nullifying damage, but stacking enough overshield that even painful hits get reduced to tickle damage.
