I just made this with what I think is 2mm. I cut the strings 3 meters long but they only needed to be 2½ meters. Finished product is 25 cm wide and 34 cm long (8cm of that is the tassels at the bottom). Hopefully these measurements are helpful to someone!
This video is so easy to follow! I will be making more of these to give as gifts.
If I use 3mm cord, how much length do I have to use instead of 4metres.

Bonjour j'adore votre macramé. Je voudrais faire la même chose pour un abat-jour qui mesure 93 cm de circonférence, et je voudrais qu'il mesure 25 cm de haut. Savez vous combien de brins me faudrait il et combien doivent-ils mesurer. Je suis débutante en macramé et je ne sais pas comment il faut calculer. Je vous remercie d'avance. Bonne soirée
