I feel its not worth it. Better buy 3 pairs of dumbbell rods with 7.5kgx4, 5kgx4 and 2.5kgx4 cast iron plates, it will cost you only between 7k an 8k. I believe for home workouts, 15 kg per hand is more than enough. And we don't have to worry abt the parts getting damaged.. I personally like the metal bashing sound that cast iron plates make when I workout lift them. Yes, storage is a point of concern when compared to this dumbbells. But you can still manage if you buy it from a good vendor, they would provide you with a storage case as well. All my dumbbells comfortably go under the sofa. So no issues with storage also I guess.
You have mentioned only 3 variations of weights that costs 7k. This dumbells have 15 variations of weights. In my case, for lateral raise I use 2.5 kg and for bench press I need 16 kg. Each body part need its own specific weight. and for lateral raise, I cant jump to 5kg from 10kg, the incremental should be small. So a serious body builder would need many dumbbells of different weights.
