Hi Dom. It's impressive what can be accomplished with the Iconica Sketch library the comes FREE with Cubase Pro 13.
However, I'm particularly impressed with your impersonation of a crazy conductor, at the beginning of the video. 😉
This was already an exceptionally well demonstrated design tutorial, but when I saw the dynamic gate my mind started racing!

Awesome as always Dom. I just found this channel and have more things to watch and learn.
I have both Cubase Pro on my studio workstation and LE on my laptop, I was able to simply upgrade to 13 on my LE and I really liked the interface, so I knew I would upgrade my PRO version. What especially intrigued me was the inclusion of the vocorder (which I have always missed since the eary Cubase VST days) and also Iconica sketch. It was your videos showcasing the new features as well as Iconica sketch which definitely made my mind up. This Video has been very intersting and instructional (I have used Halion Symphonic Orchestra but found it rather complicated). Your video of Colors Tensed also made me purchase that as well.

Wow! That's brilliant Dom. Iconica Sketch is a fantastic addition to Cubase 13 but I never knew that Halion was so extensive. Excellent.
You are very generous ❤❤❤ 😊. I have question- how to little offset the midi trigger randomly for these instruments? Just to give the mimic of human playing with little offset of the beats so it sounds further more realistic.

What I would like to see next is a way to add mystery and suspense with music.
It's quite difficult for me, so I hope you can tell which articulations or even scales are best suited for this type of music.
Although I don't have Halion Sonic, I feel ready to apply some of the techniques you've just shown, to
my other and also very expressive plugin Soundpaint by 8dio.

Hi, this one is HUGE, already created my own big Orchestral. So for next tutorial it would be interesting to learn how to make these multi-programs provided in Halion Sonic 7. There are a lot of arps and keyswitches in these programs

If I make use of the current sale going on, and I crossgrade Iconica Opus using Cubase Pro 13.
Does it consume/invalidate my Cubase license in the process of crossgrading?
If it does let me keep Cubase Pro 13, may I use this same license later to crossgrade something else like Nuendo for example?

How easy is this to use, if you want to make some patches for primarily live play with or without integrated with the daw. Always wanted a way to bring your VST’s together in an easy setup by just sending a program change from your midi keyboard, but Steinberg have never gone this route. Something that works not only on a Mac and limited to Mac plugins.
