An incredible find and in great condition - it should do great on flush tests (I will also see OCC's one set up on his High Tank which certainly mimics a high powered flushometer when the video is released).
That's super cool! I've had a liking for these for a long time. They don't flush as strong as a Modernus but I actually prefer it because of the elongated bowl and 12" rough in. I like the shape too. Hope to see it flush soon! The K7 on the back means this was made in Kokomo, IN in 1937.
Nope. The Crane Speedway is a floor mount blowout toilet, and "Standard" 's competitor to that was the Valvo. The "Standard" Madbrook is a reverse trap siphonic toilet, which would have competed with the Kohler Brooklands at the time. I can't remember the model name of the Crane version though...
Absolutely LEGENDARY find! That is just so amazing that you have one in your collection now! Incredible find!
Amazing find! 👍
Awesome and legendary toilet

The "Standard" version of a Crane Speedway, basically.

@@thecan8460 Thanks. I stand corrected. Was it the Crane Purton you were thinking of?
@@frequentflusher Nope. The Purton competed with the "Standard" Tribor and Kohler Rockwell. Those had a trapway diameter of "3.
@@thecan8460 Man, I am striking out with these guesses today.
