Hello! In this video, we are doing a walking tour of Dominical, Costa Rica. Dominical is a small one-road town with a relaxed bohemian feel to it. It has some great food and drink options, a beautiful beach with great surf for all levels, and is certainly a place where the jungle life meets beach life.
We will also show you how to take the bus from Uvita to Dominical and back.
Dominical is in Costa Rica's Southern Pacific Zone next to popular destinations such as Jaco, Manuel Antonio, Uvita, and Ojochal. We lived and worked here for a few months at the beginning of 2022.
Please leave any questions or comments below! Happy to answer anything we can about this beautiful region of Costa Rica!

Awe the road was red dirt when I was there and that was one of my favorite parts! I loved walking barefoot down that road to the beach.
Nice video. I used to work in DiuWak 22 years ago. Time fly so fast. 🇨🇷🥰
Just got back from Costa Rica: when to Dominical, Dominicalito and Manuel Antonio: however I would only recommend dominical for surfing as the currents are very strong with frequent rip tides and a tourist even drowned recently. Dominicalito however has surf and is more sheltered and suitable for swimming.
Wow that is so tragic. Im so sorry to hear that. A good word of caution. You have to always be careful in the ocean. When we were there it was very calm and we were able to swim. But you need to be on the lookout for rips. If you can spot them ahead of and avoid those areas that is best. Some tips for spotting rips: calm stretches of water between waves, murky water from the sand, rippled waves. There were life guards there when we were there as well but always important to stay vigilant yourself. I like your recommendation and considering this information would agree! Dominicalito is a great beach for swimming. Thank you!
How fun! What was your favorite thing about seeing Costa Rica? We love traveling as well and we invite you to follow our journey!
Just subscribed ;) Many things it’s hard to pick one. Since this video is about Dominical I’ll focus here. The sunsets are stunning! And then hiking and repelling down diamanté waterfall 😊
I’m going to a tropical place this week This video made me so excited for it
so interesting video-work! The. 🤞
Hey!! Thank you very much :) it was fun to do

Amazing tour👍🏿
Thank you so much!!! 😊😊
Can’t hear you much when you wear the face mask. You might do some text below to explain what you are saying.
wow it looks so nice there we may go soon is it worth it ?
I would say yes. But I’m biased. I think any trip to Costa Rica is worth it lol. What are your plans? Dominical is beautiful and relaxed. Great if you wanna learn how to surf too. And a good base if you have a car to get to some other popular destinations in Costa Rica 😊
@@thenotmadnomads not sure we just like to explore and see new tings
@@our4feettravelers760 well I couldn’t agree more there! I would say yes totally worth it! A lot of nature, adventure, beach, jungle, and pura vida!
I like Dominical much more than Uvita
The sound of the narration is the worst...oh, ya and lose the background music
