I'm not surprised a lot of people ain't feeling this or callin him old and washed up, as only those who truly love rhyme scheming and bars rather than beats and hooks can appreciate it. He has been gradually putting higher and higher priority on rhyme schemes for years now and some of these bars are on a whole nother level I ain't heard before.
4:59 he starts some of the most complex bars I've ever heard. I used to think his early work's rhyme schemes were his best and wasn't as fond of his later work starting with Marshal Matters LP as he dramatically shifted his schemes but now lookin at the larger picture you see how he has evolved that into what he is doin now and it really makes me rethink my opinions. If this man continues like this he might very well be in consideration as the GOAT of hip hop, no disrespect intended to any other artists but bar manipulation at this level is genius.
