Hi I was seeing the seat selection for an economy flight in emirates. It was a connecting flight and when i was selecting seats to the second part of my connecting flight (Dubai to los angeles), there was a 3-D view of the seat I was selecting. When I clicked on it, the touch screen remote control for the IFE was not attached to the back of the seat but instead it was just one large tray table and the IFE in the top. Was it like this for you too ? The aircraft was an Airbus A380 800. When I clicked the first flight( Bangalore to Dubai), the touchscreen remote below the IFE was there in the 3-D view. When was this flight in the above video exactly ?

This flight was on the 9th of May, 2023. On the A380 I had my touch screen remote below the IFE. It could be a glitch in the 3d seat view but I believe all seats on the A380 have the remote below the IFE in front

@@nawfelrashid4732 I was looking into it a bit more and I found the official emirates website has put up pictures of the seats without any touchscreen remote control IFE.

was emirates strict with checked bags

I think that depends on who your check in agent is, for me the agent at Dhaka was kind and lenient and wasn't very strict with bags, I was able to take a few kilos above the limit, However last year on a Qatar airways flight another check in agent was very strict from Dhaka again. So I guess the baggage thing depends on where you're departing and the check in agent. But in general on Emirates each person gets two 23kg checked bag, one 7kg carry on and one personal bag(backpack, purse, handbag etc) on the basic fare

@@nawfelrashid4732may I ask how they deal with oversized checked baggage because I’m travelling with them soon and one of my checked is 3in over the limit

​@@Acrappyitalianegineerit won't be much of an issue. If your bag is within the weight limit, the size won't matter

A very limited percentage, very few
