I liked to follow along this tutorial Explanations (especially the pokemon BALL tip helped) were clear Tho I can follow along and draw but once I want to draw something 'in my head' I struggle to apply what I learned Someone once told me 'draw the real' and I can do it but without always all the conventional stuffs. Why can I draw what I see better than something I try to put pieces together to make a thing :/
You'll get past that. For now, there's no shame in "referencing" - that means looking at something and then drawing it. Lots of legit artists make a living getting very good at doing exactly this, and doing beautiful portraits
