Picking up these speakers in the new year .. disappointing to not get a proper look at them here as room was so dark …. Eitherway , they sounded here very good ..
Vandersteen’s sounded most natural and I know because I was there and in the same rooms. Almost impossible to discern anything from these RUclips videos.
The CJ gear was not harsh in this system. I heard this system at CAF for the last (3) years and it was smooth and dynamic! CJ gear that I’ve heard and owned is not harsh. I’ve heard them extensively on Wilson Audio and B&W speakers.
Amazing how the song sounds so different in all the rooms
That is nice sounding system !
Holy moly this track is a amp killer
What’s the name of the music is awesome

There not the Khama midis
Seems like there was an audible hum in the beginning. Wonder if it was the mic
what model is the CJ amp
Connie J has banished most of the brown syrupy sound of yesteryear.
Sounds Nice
What song is this?
Jazz Variants
Tidal is more colored sound
So Dark they want us Listen to the Equipment not look at It! 🙈💪
Several rooms were like this...while I can understand someone wanting to do this at home at a show it's super annoying.
@@marksironi3324 agreed, especially for those of us who want to take pics/vids. the displays with strong backlighting are also challenging
Sounds a little messy compared to the Tidal room

We gotta do what we can
Same song as Vandersteen room, but totally different presentation. More dynamic but not as tonally natural as Vandersteens.
Always Conrad Johnson sounds harsh, not to transparent, never like them. The room from Tidal Audio is a next level
This room was the exact opposite of harsh. If anything I'd say it rounded the details off a bit.

Conrad Johnson harsh? You really need your ears checked. CJ amps and pre amps are the most natural you will ever hear.
@SAGNI971 you’re wrong sir or ma’am
