Hello there , followed you hear from your MT09 videos , i got the same tenere as you , i got a black widow can on mine and it sounds awesome , will you be doing any mods to yours ? keep up the great vids fella
Hey there, that's cool to hear that you watched the MT09 videos. I am tempted to do a few basic mods, probably do tyres, maybe the quickshifter, I have been looking at the Black Widow exhaust - they do one which is very similar to the SC Project one which looks nice, they look really well built and are very affordable. I actually don't find the stock suspension to be too bad, but I will probably mess about with some different spring rates over the winter, maybe some preload adjusters for the forks. I'd love to put some 48mm KYB forks from the Yamaha motocross bikes on it, although it's a little bit involved (maybe a project somewhere down the line). Cheers👍
@@tankslapmoto9999 this is my fourth tenere 700 as I couldn’t make me mind up . Tail tidy and can done , water pump protection and left side engine cover too . Sticking to stock suspension as that’s better than me , quickshifter ordered but dealer says hard to get , sticking with str tyres as I comutte 6days . It’s a great bike indeed
Seeing as how you've owned a MT-07 and now a Tuono, can you give your opinion on why you chose the Tenere over the Tuareg 660 as the share the respective engines? It is down to those two bikes for me and would appreciate your thoughts on why you chose the Tenere. Thanks, and I enjoy watching how much fun you have riding your bikes!
Hi, interesting question. The Tuareg is a great bike but the Tenere was more appealing to me, I don't really want traction control, rider modes etc. on a midsized adventure bike, although the cruise control is nice for road work. I also have the perception that the Yamaha is more rugged (but my Aprilias have all been faultless). In terms of the engines, the Aprilia is marginally faster but it feels like it has less tourque low down / when crawling off-road. Plus I prefer the look of the Yamaha😉. I think if I was mainly wanting a bike for the road then I'd get the Aprilia, but as a tool for off-road adventure riding the Yam was more appealing.
Are u able to switch ABS modes while riding. Like traveling on pavement then hitting some dirt then back to pavement without stopping. I would hate to have to stop every time and hold people up
Hi, unfortunately not, you have to be stationary I believe. Probably health and safety related (although ironically this encourages one to leave the abs off...). There is a rather handy physical button in the cockpit area that lets you turn it back on with a simple press whilst stationary (no need to navigate the tft menu). I do agree that it would be better if you could switch modes whilst on the move👍
Yeah I want one
Haulin ass🚵🚴⛷️
