The best part of this video is buddy lost his leg, but is still outside pursuing his love and passion. I really respect guys like this.
Literally crazy he became a cop, wrestled alligators, he really said it is but a flesh wound and carried on with his life and passion
What stuck out to me, besides this guy being awesome, is that he wants to meet the people interested in his tortoises. That really shows his love for them 😊

I really appreciate how respectful Kenan is about entering enclosures and handling the animals when he visits other animal keepers. It's a great lesson for viewers to not assume it's okay to just jump in and pick up someone else's animals.

I know Shawn and I can confidently say he pours his heart and soul into doing this! He is very dedicated and these animals have the best habitats and get to enjoy the Florida weather year round 😇
I felt like I was watching "The Truman Show" sitting watching intently while that tortoise was overturned waiting and hoping for someone to see it! 🤣
It makes me really happy when you go to all the different Reptile keepers and Breeders and show the various styles, ways and forms of their setups and care! I just love how the Reptile community are so willing share and help each other out. Would love to see and learn more of Officer Shawn Boorman and his setup in the future!

Pine needles contain large amounts of vitamin C, and steeping them in hot water releases the nutrient. The tea provides the complete vitamin C complex, not simply isolated ascorbic acid as you would get in a vitamin C tablet.
Loving the collabs and getting to see other reptile keepers ! I'm starting to miss the gators tho haven't seen them in awhile 😅

Absolutely love these longer videos. Some youtubers try the longer vids but I end up losing interest About 10min in but never on Kenans especially when we get to meet these new friends.

When you go to your home base sorry here in England thats what we call it grab a bag are two off pea shingle tip some around your cages then use the expansion foam will go much further are you can use broken rock hope this helps you out dave

Oh wow! Yes the cherry heads and stars were beautiful, but that black/brown wood tort was gorgeous!! It looked like the plastron was hand sculpted. A dark mini sulcata was my first thought.

I recently heard that they got a problem with Kenan I don’t know what’s going on but they are all awesome and if it’s a problem I don’t understand why they can’t go to kenan instead of saying online how kenan has a problem with chandler and this and thay but no one can say exactly what is going on it’s sad because let’s just all get along

20:23 "They eat non-stop." I'm glad to hear that the tort king feeds them if they seem to want to eat. I've tried holding back on my Aldabra that eats every day. There is DEFINITELY A personality change! Not happy. Meal time seems to be her favorite part of the day.

I had to make the same decision for the Drs to take my leg as well shortly after I turned 18 so pretty much the same age but I had been dealing with an infection for years before they approached me to make the decision to take my leg and they waited until the infection got into the bone before they said that there was nothing else they could do besides taking the leg from below the knee just like yours and that Alligator story is amazing and I have to say I've done some crazy things like that with my fake leg but nothing as crazy as that

Same kind of hunting accident happened to my grandfather when he was a young man. Except he shot himself in the leg with bird shot tripping over a root. Luckily he kept the leg but he had circulation issues with it the rest of his life.
