Hi, I been restoring my de sw, got one particular problem, when I turn on the game the laser kick coil gets stuck, the knocker as well, the laser switch is not workin on test, either one of the drop tagets and one of the jets. In addition of that the jets flasher and not working now, any ideas ?? Regards
Hi! Good Job repairing that SW! I have a Rocky and Bullwinckle Data East but DMD is doesn't work after shipment, Im poor with electronics but what can I check? Can you help me with this? Thanks
+Knuckles the Echidna Data East used the BSMT2000 (which is basically a DSP), this was continued on by Sega, and then ultimately Stern in their early games. The BSMT2000 are now in short supply
+GadgetUK164 In some circuits, the connectors are being used at their maximum current rating, over time, the plating degrades, and conductivity is lost, this results in the connectors getting hot, which makes the situation worse as the plating oxidises further at the connectors start to burn
I would appreciate you not waving the camera around all the time. :/ I don't have enough time to even realize what you're trying to show time to time. Take it easy and give us time to see what you're filming.
According to BTVA.com, Fred Young did all of the voices on this pinball machine.

"whistles" wow that header took a hit and a half.
Beautiful!!! Sound chip sounded good too, do the machines often use a Yamaha sound chip?

+arcadeuk wow sounds great, didn't realise it was a DSP making those awesome sounds :D
Great! Those connectors seem to be a common problem - I wonder why?
