Thank you, i was in a small rut, trying to figure out what makes certain movies stars so magnetic, or what draws our attention

I hope this tip gets you out of the rut. So much of acting is in the details, and sometimes the technique behind the effect is not always obvious.

As a singer for a bonjovi tribute band here in England called fromjoviuk, i really appreciate all of your advice, i do get very nervous before i sing.

The funny thing about looking confident on stage is that it is not about how we feel, but how we appear to the audience. I don't like the phrase, "Fake it 'till you make it!", as it suggests insincerity, but there is an element of truth to it. Strategies like this make us appear more confident, so the audience treats us like we're confident, and in turn, we feel more confident.
Glad you found this one useful. Go out there in a Blaze Of Glory!

Your stop motion was great. Much smoother than my first attempt.

Thank you Hannah. This small attempt at stop motion gives me great appreciation for the patience and artistry of those people who make full-length movies. My little wooden man looks like he's shivering in this video, but I hope my next attempt is smoother

I wish you would make a whole series on this subject! Right now I am thinking of a friend of mine who is a performer. I feel like she has a lot of stage presence and I would say she always seems like she''s off in another world. It's like her eyes are almost opaque but it's mezmerizing. A lot of performers I think are interesting can seem like they are off somewhere and I would be curious to hear what you think of this. I for one also could use a whole lot of improvement in this area.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, and yes, the eyes are a crucial part of a performer's craft. Yes, I will be doing more videos about stagecraft. I cannot say whether they will exclusively focus on eyes, but if you found this idea intriguing, look up my STAGECRAFT playlist - you might find my Three Point Technique (directing eyes and attention in specific places) and Judy Technique (coordinating gesture and dialogue) useful for boosting stage presence.

Thanks Robin for your support. This idea is only the tip of the iceberg of course, but I hope it help people make clearer choices to give the performance they want.

Hey, I found you because I wanna improve my stage performance. Your method is what I want to know for ages
I’ve been wonder What Tom Cruise do to his face? Is there something behind? Then you gave me the answer.
Assume to this method I did it in daily life and Wooh!! It made my life more easier in many ways. All the people I met treated me better than usual situations and of course my confident is gained a lot. Many Thanks from Thai geek guy!!!!
