  • Want to breathe more life into your singing voice, speaking voice, physicality, and on-stage presence while being more focused and alert?
This simple acting technique - BRIGHT, CURIOUS EYES - is another useful addition to any actor's "toolbox". It is as much as state of mind as it is physical, and it benefits both the actor and the audience.
Some actors discover this tip intuitively, but we break down the physicality and psychology behind it so we can apply it with intention.

Your stop motion was great. Much smoother than my first attempt.

Thank you Hannah. This small attempt at stop motion gives me great appreciation for the patience and artistry of those people who make full-length movies. My little wooden man looks like he's shivering in this video, but I hope my next attempt is smoother

The funny thing about looking confident on stage is that it is not about how we feel, but how we appear to the audience. I don't like the phrase, "Fake it 'till you make it!", as it suggests insincerity, but there is an element of truth to it. Strategies like this make us appear more confident, so the audience treats us like we're confident, and in turn, we feel more confident.
Glad you found this one useful. Go out there in a Blaze Of Glory!

Thanks Robin for your support. This idea is only the tip of the iceberg of course, but I hope it help people make clearer choices to give the performance they want.
