- "How come some people with equal or even less opportunities than us manage to build extraordinary lives, while other struggle?"
In an inspiring talk, Patrick invites the audience to rethink their approach to uncertainty and use it as a tool to build a life worth living. Having worked, studied and lived in 3 continents by the age of 25, Patrick uses uncertainty as a tool to build a life of growth. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
With the uncertainty we live with today, this TEDx has only become more valuable. Thanks Patrick.
Thanks Marc! Glad you still find it useful
This talk is massively underrated
This is inspiring. I for one am in a similar situation, and inclined to feelings of extreme uncertainty about my life journey. Thriving to change is definitely in the list...
Thank you and all the very best! You got this
Great talk Patrick! You’re an inspiration for all of us who are starting to build our own independent life. Uncertainty is scary but beautiful at the same time. Anything can happen and that’s what makes life so challenging and exciting!
Thank you, sleeve ❤️
Nice thoughts but I think it's important to consider how loved ones can fit in the picture. I value my relationships and family so that is always factored in for me.
Absolutely! each one should consider their very own values and goals in life and persue what makes most sense to them
It was really inspiring! And now I’m considering to take a step out of my comfort zone. Thanks Patrick
Just try the very first step and take it from there! All the best and remember to keep us posted :)
I wish you the best ! The first step is the beginning of your new life :)
@@chasetheflow6868 absolutely!
So inspiring! I am right in front of dilemma wether to feel sorry for myself or get closer to the person what I dare be even having had to make some sacrifice which is coming 🙏

Great talk Patrick. This has helped me a lot 👌
You are a true cowboy my AMIGOS...!!
Its a first for being called a cowboy :D Gracias!
Awesome Patrick! We all need to accept uncertainty as a possibility to achieve great things and build the life we want. If both of us wouldn't have accepted uncertainty, we wouldn't have met in China and became part of Startup Grind ;-)
Thanks brother!
Orgullo patito querido!! Impecable! Abrazo enorme.
Gracias Laucha querido
Very good one. Real stuff starts at 5:30 minutes. Before that irrelevant.
Thank you! Appreciate the feedback
Beautiful...
Thank you! Hope you have a great day
Look at how good looking he is.
Muy bueno Patrick!!!
Gracias!
The talk feels like a bunch of motivational quotes. Lack depth
I'm sorry... but I found the speech very selfish and empty. I feel it is just like a conversation with your cousin that just came back from a trip. No content, no motivation.
Lmao so life in Argentina was annoying so you went to Denmark! Try being from Egypt or Zimbabwe and go to dubai and we’ll see how hard that would be bro
is not a competition brother, hope all is good with you
I mean, It's a year now since I posted this comment. during this year I stayed 6 months in Europe and another 6 in Africa. sorry man, I still stand by my point! ik life is not fair, ik it's not a competition, ik 1st world has it's own set of problems, but still. WTF Bro! Huge disparity. even in the problems. we even feel sad and grief on different levels, so yeah. it's not a competition. because whoever was born on the right side of the fence will win for sure. @@PatoM_
