Silent Hill 2 was the only one to have the enemies tie to the main character, 1,3, & 4 are all tied to the antagonist and how their influence taints the spiritual power of the town via the cult of Silent Hill.
Silent Hill 3 has monsters tied to Heather's previous incarnations, as well as many of her current teenage fears like sexual assault, fear of the body, birth, etc. Have a gander at the inspirations for them they're pretty darn tied to the protagonist.

@@Luna-Fox What's your source for this? As far as I can find the Devs have never been interviewed specifically on what SH3's monsters are symbolically representing, and there's a fair bit of sense behind many of them representing fears of Alessa and Heather.
@@Pompadour_Pug They make a lot more sense when you consider Claudia's upbringing and her twisted view of the world as being corrupted by material and base desires as well as her obsession with the birth of God, on top of her abusive father being a literal monster.
@@lappiestofdogslapdog Admittedly I think it makes a little more sense being a concoction of the two. The iteration of Silent HIll seen within 1 is a materialisation of Alessa's tortured twisted dream state with the 2 stages representing the stages of her sleep, and you see a very simliar iteration of Silent Hill's Nightmare background within 3, with a mixture of rust, blood and burnt locations. So to me there's unquestionably an aspect of Alessa forming the foundation for the imagery shown.
With the extent of Claudia's trauma and her deep connection to the cult I can certainly see parts of Silent Hill twisting to psychologically reflect her mental state, but due to the power Alessa wields, and the connection between Heather and Alessa, I think it's fairly sensible to say Heather would have a degree of maliability over Silent Hill's Nightmare scape, especially as it's been shown before within Silent Hill 2 that it will, to an extent mold, around the viewer's perspective.
As a result, I certainly think there's an aspect of Claudia within the imagery, but I also think Heather and Alessa are being psychologically reflected.

Laziness is the bane of any art that requires multiple set pieces. Furthermore, the sound and environment design are shown to go hand in hand. Remember how the remaster has garbage audio and missing textures?

I’ve beaten every silent hill game (even the terrible ones) but not this one, because the last let’s say 2 levels are so fucking bad I refuse to touch it any further and I just uninstall. This game crashes and burns so hard it’s insane

My favourite part about this game is people's first reaction to Jasper's death. Every other character makes you feel bad, or at least unsettled, but Jasper on fire makes everyone playing go "You fucking R-word."

As hilarious as the Dracula, Ronald McDonald, and Cynthia Mexican food bits are, I forgot about the weird tangents the guys go into in the second half of this playthrough. Like all of the random songs they belt out.
Not that I'm complaining, of course.
I also like these bits, plus the Blaze the Movie Fan, Spider Man, slop, Julian's imaginary friend and others.

I havent clicked on a video so fast like this in years
When it comes to bad theatre behavior, I was in the theatre to see Ad Astra (which I had to leave 3/4 of the way through because I have very aggressive restless leg syndrome, Tourette's Syndrome, and back pain so it became too difficult and painful to stay) and while I loved the movie, there were about four or five senior women who practically screamed and cackled in conversation with each other during every part of the film that I was there for.
On top of that, a couple of grown men in their mid thirties or maybe forty who were jumping over the railings every several minutes. Another older gentleman was constantly snorting and coughing up phlegm whenever he took another handful of popcorn.
He was the one person I wasn't mad at because I figured he couldn't necessarily control his spluttering, but the other ridiculously rude viewers I described made it very hard to enjoy the movie, but it was so well-done and intriguing for me that I could still follow every detail. The movie was well worth it, but the other people in the theatre were just the worst. Thankfully no one was packing heat as far as I could tell.

All my bad theater moments were from the times I watched Blade Runner 2049 in theaters. At the first showing, a fifty year old man stole the seat I already reserved and bitched at me when i was kicked out of an empty adjacent seat and persisted that I really needed my original seat back. The second time I went to see it, a teenage girl was next to me talking about how han solo was in the movie.
The third time, a handful of 16 year old boys couldnt stop belching and farting at the scene where Officer K is bleeding out in the snow.
The only other purely awful theater experience I had was during IT chapter one. The audience was filled with inner city high school students and they all couldnt stop screaming at the spooky clown jumpscares that happened nonstop. What bothered me was that people were completely engaged in it.
The only time where I actively enjoyed audience autism was at a screening of The Room. Probably the best movie to watch in theaters when everyone is going absolutely fucking wild throwing spoons and shit.

I do like how we all pretty much recognize, including a lot of critics or anyone who reviews entertainment, that they should identify that something is bad but entertaining, or if it's bad because it is boring and painful to sit through. Although kids movies have it a bit harder because kids usually won't recognize that it's bad, only that it entertains them, while adults will just think it's boring, plus kids stuff can be bad for sending an inappropriate message/lesson, such as inadvertently saying that bullying is okay. A movie aimed for adults can have a bad message and they can play it off as a joke, but kids do usually take something away from whatever they watch, so that excuse doesn't work in kids movies and tv.
If anyone's a fan of Jaboody Dubs, you might know what I'm getting at, because they'll basically do Mystery Science Theater with older movies, and the goofier the movie is, the better their video is. With stuff like that, bad but entertaining movies can be a gold mine, while if they did a really boring movie, like that Wrinkle in Time movie that came out last year (I think), you'd have to be an honest to god comedy genius to make that funny!
I feel like Silent Hills was gonna be like sh4 in the way that you move through a hub in 1st person and go to different areas. The area we got in PT was just a peek at a hub level
If any game from the original Team Silent tetralogy was going to be an influence upon Silent Hills it would be 4. There are a lot of parallels.
