Imagine an object hung from the ceiling in mid air and the object has guide wires anchored on to the floor to prevent it from swaying. In this case, the top part is actually hung from the bottom part by the middle string and the outside strings are simply guide wires. The illusion is caused by the fact that much of the portion to be hung is actually above the part that is being hung from. Also, guide wires are usually diagonal but in this case they are vertical which gives the illusion that they are supporting the weight of the upper object.
This looks very cool!
I also made one, but there is no rope in the middle,
"anti-gravity" succeeded!
I wonder if you could replace the center line with really strong pulling magnets.
That is actually genius
Bro that is actually so smart holy crap
Why ask? Try it or are you asking for permission?
I've already seen plenty of those ones
That is crazy bro
Have you seen the ones that people are making out of lego? So cool! How big do you think these things could scale up to?
Lego is very good for prototyping uses. Quick to assemble and modify.
someone make a coffee table out of this idea, and im doing the same ... looks amazing ps ill be checking the magnet idea @signum ignotus
Not many here on YT or Pinterest. Not all magnets need be the same size and shape across the whole design as currently here on YT.
someone made a seat out of it using chains!
Use me as an ‘’i don’t get it’’ button
