The animations should come back, I dont understand why they were removed, and then also bring back the monthly raid pass box. At least one raid pass. Please Niantic, people need these back.
Long time waste for each encounter
Not to mention the fact that a lot of people such as me live in rural areas, so they aren’t able to fight in many raids, so Niantic, do us a favor and bring back Field Research legends

The cute animations NEED to come back, they make the Pokémon so lively and so incredibly cutee
I think they should bring them back but maybe as like an extra feature that you can turn on and off for the people who don’t like them
It wastes time though when you're grinding star piece or lucky egg you'll feel differently

Isnt it stupid, so stupid that I don't understand. Why invest so much resources to add those animation and then remove it? Niantic like money or not? The animation are done and people like it. Just add them back its like someone saying to them "Dont do something good for them"
I miss the animation... and even the EX raid was fun.

Yeah but the point of the game is to walk around so why would they leave something like that in the shop? It makes sense when you can't be walking around that they would put remote passes out for so cheap, so people would play but when it ends they want you to get outside
The animation should come back but there should be an option so players can choose to take the time for that animation or not

I wished EX raids returned, i can not find a group of people by myself to do the new red eggs raids.
By having the EX raids i just walked to the location and 15 people were just there.
there was literally no way of getting an exraid without being a popular ytber or an extremely good player and because of this crappy pass i never got to finish the Pokedex (Mewtwo being one of the only ones missing) and lost access to my acc. great👍

As a free to play player, It truly warms my heart that Niantic was kind enough to remove the remote raid pass for one pokecoin. It truly, truly does make the game so much more free to play friendly and enjoyable. Thank you.

Biggest flex was I actually went to a couple of ex raids and met some people
every monday 1 poke coin for 1 remote raid pass and not 3

And as of April of 2023 they plan to nerf remote raid passes even more by making them about twice the amount they were and limiting how many remote raids that you could battle in. Dammit Niantic.

Technically EX raids aren't completely gone as the have (Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad, so bad that you can't do it solo) elite raids with "good" pokemon. I am looking at you regidrago!!

Why no one is talking abaut the free stardust that we used to get when transferring pokemon? It was very cool and I would probably had extra 20 mil stardust if it was still here(I'm not sure when it get removed but I remember it in the beta in 2016)

The excitement of opening the game, to see if you received an EX Pass, was a high point of the game. I wish they would bring it back with some new shiny varient exclusive releases.
Bring back the raid passes, and the animations, keep the ex raids out
Imagine having the most popular mobile game to exist at one point and then the devs continually ruin it with bad updates and things no one wants.

But i miss the eventless days.
When finding a Dragonite, Tyranitar, or Snorlax was just a matter of extreme luck. Not because they were on a list that spawn eventually everywhere.
Watch them bring back EX raids by putting tough Mythical and new Legendaries in it. Although...I guess Elite raids might have replaced EX raids, which is better

Yeah and there's no map to help you find where they're at so good luck finding one if your rural player lol. In my town we have like 13 gyms but none of them are EX and I have no idea where the nearest one is. So I haven't been able to get anything released in elite raids. 😭
@@JRNimmo yea wth because there is 9 gyms around my town and 4 of them are EX raids but only 2 Elite eggs spawned when Regidrago announced
However I looked around the place further and there's nearly 10 Elite raid eggs all over the place

Honestly, I couldn't care less about animations, this game is riddled with them. I just want to tap on something and it happen, not sit and watch a trade animation, or an evolve animation. You should be able to skip any of them like they did with the egg hatching one!

Basically they removed all the good features so that the game could be bland.

I remember when I got my first Regigigas from an EX raid, that was in February 2020
Yeah but Hoopa and Regidrago were also Remote Raids
Hoopa and Regidrago are from Elite Raids. EX Raids were different. You had to actually do a raid at an EX gym that week and then be chosen to get an EX raid pass the next week. There was a certain amount of elitism attached to EX raids, and they were a pain in the butt when they were at 11:00 AM on a Monday when many people were at work. But, it was a rush to get an EX pass. It’s how I got my first MewTwo and I have great memories of it.
@Alicia yeah I know what EX raids are. I did only 2 of them cause i was a beginner (BTW now I'm level 42) but at least when Regigigas was in raids last time when his shiny came to pokemon go (2021) I got the shiny on the first raid and a shiny Lunatone in the same day

Niantic are just intentionally destroying the game at this rate. If they don’t want any involvement anymore they should just sell the game to a company who will deliver to the players
It really feels like their goal is it make the game as bad as possible while keeping the active player numbers above some specific level.

My Most favourite Feature was the old footstep Feature. It Made find a Pokemon such Special. More a reward for Walking. Today there so many Pokemon even If you Pay youncan never Catch all

EX raid was so dumb. I was doing so many raids compared to my friend doing 1/4 and every one they did I also did. They got an EX invite and I didn’t. Super stupid system

Now in place of ex raids is elite raids. Very limited time slots. Last one was on March 11th. I didn't get a chance to catch the new Pokémon because I was working. 😢

Stupid Money Hungry Niantic
I fought Giovanni twice In the past week and got a 911 cp shadow Kyogre and a 1300 cp regigigas. The Kyogre is such a joke 😂
I understand they dont want everyone winning everything, but getting rid of the free remote raid box and upping the price for just ONE of them (going from 100 to 195)
Is what kinda made me lose a lot of my interest in the game. I already stuggle enough with 3-star raids and the six people in my neighborhood who play this game never wanna join my raids. Which baffles me cuz there’s 3 gyms near my area, that are always going through raids
thank GOODNESS THE EX PASS WAS REMOVED . me and my dad were not by any means content creators, and we got almost all gen 1 and 2 mons, EXCEPT Mewtwo and legendaries stuck behind this thing. it was only for the 'best players' or youtubers, who were invited to specific events, and it's the reason i never got to finish the Pokedex and lost interest in the game soon after gen4 dropped. how am i supposed to stay interested in a Pokemon game where i can't catch them all?
Keep Elite Raids (for those who love in-person) and keep the usual remote for those who cannot raid within communities!!!!!! I am only sad that I cannot afford to remote raid with my mum anything - won’t spend money on that! They should have not give this to us just to remove, they could have explained - phased it out!!!!! They phased Ex raids in, but brutally destroyed remotes. They will feel it financially

I think the opening animations were following an event (I think the music/Meloetta event?), so I suspect they were limited to just the Pokemon encountered during that time.

I think that the custom animations when you tap on a Pokemon was removed because doing one for every single Pokemon from every single generation was to much work
Don’t forget when the pandemic hit they stopped giving people legendary Pokémon in the weekly breakthrough now it’s mid rare Pokémon

I still see a lot of gyms with the "EX raid tag" in the top left corner of the gym when you click on it. I think I was only able to do 1 or 2 EX raids before it was nerfed. I either EX raids and the animations would come back.
Didn’t the ex raids come back in form of the elite raids? I mean zoo don’t need a ticket but it is an in person raid which gives you a special new Pokémon - and it even has the old black ex raid graphic .. 🤔
There used to be a time where the research tasks were actually worth doing because the gift use to give you legendary Pokémon to catch they removed because they hate us or something idk I want that feature back
