I've lived in California my whole life and have not done much traveling. In late 2006 I spent a week in the hospital at Hot Springs Arkansas. The same town Robert Johnson sings about in 32--20 Blues. My dad and I was going to go to the delta blues museum in Clarksdale Mississippi when I was released. Then come back for a check up after the weekend. The doctor decided that it would be to risky to go he wanted me to stay in town. Talk about having the blues.

And in Nashville, you met George Gruhn , what a legend ! I'm so jealous ! If you want some well studied & researched reading material on Robert Johnson & the Mississippi he was around in , I highly recommend a book called "Escaping the Delta - Robert Johnson and the invention of the Blues " by Elijah Wald . I bought it in Waterstones a few years ago and it's no doubt on Amazon . Cheers 👍

Just heard you for first time after literally just home from a Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters. He introduced a Bhukka White tune as did Larkin Poe before him! You have a nice voice vibrato , keep bluesin brutha! 🎶 from 🇨🇦
