I think dark knight the action scenes were really good until the final fight in the skyscraper construction site bc its just batman knocking everyone out. However Jokers final speech while hes hanging upside down, and then batman going to stop Two-face from killing Harvey's son was really good, just more dialogue based. But scenes like the semi-truck chase or the opening bank robbery are great
Titanic is literally a love story where a homeless man lucks into getting to meet a rich woman falls in love with her, and then the rich woman forces him to drown
My biggest problem with the black phone actually was that they only chose a hand few of the kids to really describe. I wish we got to know more about the kids who were murdered and more of their background than just a brief two minute overview. If I remember correctly the one kid with the bike lock didn’t even have any sort of background.

Heard you on LOTR. The only time I've ever fallen asleep in a theater was fellowship of the ring (I was 8 but still). They're well-made, I can appreciate them, and I don't hate if a friend who likes them throws one on. But they're really drawn out and I wouldn't choose to watch one myself. With Avatar, the visuals were fantastic in imax in 2009. Beyond that, completely average movie.
My friend suggested we watch Smile on discord, I never watch horror movies because I’m very jumpy and always avoided them. We watched it, and everyone was like wtf was that. Every jumpscare that happened didn’t scare me, they just weirded me out. I didn’t understand the appeal. It’s not my friends fault, we wanted something scary. It wasn’t to me.

In my opinion, and the opinion of several others, the Dark Knight is the greatest superhero movie of all time because it is one of the very few where the good guy doesn't really win and there isn't really a happy ending. Avengers Infinity War, Amazing Spiderman 2, and Spiderman No Way Home are the only three I remember that are like that.

I like olden time movies, people traversing the ancient world and stuff, but all this movie was is some guy jumping through every hoop thrown at him by the regime to survive. Nothing really happens. Couldn't like use his skills to get out and take out some Romans or something, but ye it's historical i guess.

I liked it fine when I was a kid, especially since I didn't see nearly as many films back then, but looking at in now, I find it to be a huge tonal mess from start to finish. It wants to be a grand epic, with several dark and serious elements, but it also has some very juvenile humor and obnoxiously upbeat songs, and it just doesn't mix for me at all. The more serious stuff works okay, but the childish elements and overly cheery musical numbers really take me out of the experience. The "live action" version really would have benefited from giving it a consistently serious tone, but it played things way too safe. Admittedly, I find Mulan to also be a tonal mess, but I can still enjoy it overall, and nothing goes too far in the humor department for me. I get why some would find The Hunchback Of Notre Dame has this problem, but it doesn't bother me too much in that regard, especially since that film is a big highlight from Disney for me.

My issue with the Dark Knight is that it shouldn’t have been a Batman movie. It’s a crime/drama that tends to have Batman in it. I wouldn’t say it’s overated but Batman is literally a side character it’s like a 8/10 or 7./10 but theirs a few things they could fix.
