I was a faithful viewer of Cold Case and enjoyed watching the show. I was disappointed in the network for cancelling it. They won't release the show on DVD's because of the copyrights that are on the music used during the programs. How sad! Most of the cases are from existing case files across the nation.

My first thought was to edit the music out, but the music really makes the episode. I can’t walk in the park and listen to music without looking over my shoulder or to my side during the key parts of the songs. People must think I’m crazy when I “randomly” look deeply at nothing 😂😂
One of my all-time favorite episodes of "Cold Case". I loved the twists in the plot, plus I was a teenager in those years so the music and the disco roller rink had real resonance with me. And ultimately it was so sad and touching. Regret is a heavy load to carry, sometimes for so slight a reason.

No song captures mid-70s apathy and sadness better than this one. Bob Welch summarized the zeitgeist with absoulutely aplomb. I'm glad he made it back from an H addiction. Were we really going anyplace any way, back then? The whole nation was going through the motions. Bob Welch, god bless him, gave meaning to the vacuum.

This was the episode of cold case that literally changed my entire life. So much so that I downloaded Bob Welch- Sentimental Lady, just two days after this originally aired.
They should have closed with Missy( her ghost ) roller skating in the middle of the apartment complex with the mother looking on. Still an excellent episode. I use to skate back in 79-80 and it was pretty popular and the place just closed 2 yrs ago due to a leaky roof. A great place for teens to meet. Thats how my grandparents met.
She just looks so sad at the end there. Don't the victims usually smile or look relieved when they show them once the cases are resolved? This one made me really sad.
Not always. It depends on the victims and the circumstances. There were a few unsympathetic victims who always looked grim (except for the victim in the episode "Greed"). Also, some of the victims had more to live for and therefore they wouldn't be happy that they died despite the circumstances of their deaths being known.

i saw this episode last week and her friend the guy at the beginning of this video kissed her cause he liked her but she was already feeling bad so she got mad at him and was going to leave, the boy tried to stop her but she kept backing up and she fell into something and died

I also liked "Factory Girls", "World's End", "Bad Night", "Bad Reputation", "Forever Blue", "Volunteers". They all had guy killers but they had at least one likable guy in them.
Yes they really speak to people who have lost a love one , this lets them see there is an afterlife. Please put back on TV , cable TV would be good like the pop channel.

Honestly the “killer” shouldn’t be arrested since it was an accident and the fact he’s already punishing himself. That DJ on the other hand deserve to be imprisoned. Sometimes there are people worse than the killers like the warden in the house, the coach in family, that singer in the red and the blue (IMO), the boys that raped the girl in Rampage, the main robber in dog day afternoon and more
Cold Case was a good show, but I believe compared to other crime solving shows like CSI, NCIS, and SVU, makes Cold Case look like the red haired stepchild.
It was weird. The kid at the end (played by Jake Thomas) grabbed her, trying to talk to her after she rejected his advances and she struggled to get away and fell off a bridge in the park. He didn't push her.
Normally, I'm a fan of "Cold Case", but this one may have just edged out "The Key" as my least favorite episode of all time. I hate episodes where all guys are either jerks or the killer. Some of the episodes that came after have been better though and there's a few I read about that I'm looking forward to.
Literally everyone in The Key were jerks though lmao the killer is the one I actually felt bad for, those adults were insane and disgustingly irresponsible. In this one, I don't think her friend was a jerk. He just misunderstood things, and she was in a bad night already and not in the mood for that. It wasn't even his fault that she died.
