I also attended a Newcastle Dominican Convent School - in Port Shepstone. At one stage these dear sisters had convents from Pietersburg in the far north to Durban, down to Umzumbe and then Port Shepstone along the Natal South Coast. All predominantly Irish nuns (as they were then) with a few Dutch, German and Polish as well.
