I keep coming in back to this because I've been a Zeppelin junkie since 1968 and I have NEVER heard any guitarist anywhere that was able to resurrect Pages sound and feel and every nuance of his playing. This has nothing to do with playing "note for note" because there's a thousand guitarists who can do that and not one of them ever gets it in Pages groove... except this guy. If I was just listening to this for the first time and was told it was an alternate Led Zeppelin studio take of Heartbreaker that didn't make it to the album there would be absolutely nothing that would tell me it was otherwise. In its entirety that's what it is. Either that or we're listening to an alternate but parallel universe of this guy channeling Jimmy Pages doppelganger.
I know cat videos are more up everybody's alley but If you have a few minutes, I'd love to get your thoughts on my songs/videos. I'm always trying to improve. I know how busy we all are and truly appreciate you taking a moment to watch. Thanks! Tiff
***** For the guitar part, it's a Fender hotrod deluxe on the drive channel, pushed with a SD pickup booster. I can't remember exactly but i think it was miced with a SM57 straight into cubase. Can't remember which interface tho, but i'm sure there was no pre eq.
