Roads in tourism cities - Hoima, Fort Portal and Kasese reap big from USMID

The People Hoima and Fort portal cities and those of Kasese Municipality are calling for additional projects under Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development - USMID.
This follows a facelift from the success stories of upgraded roads, drainage systems as well as markets.
The Mayor of Fort Portal city Asaba Edson Ruyonga says USMID is on course to turn the area into a Tourism City an opinion shared by Leaders of Kasese and Hoima.

There are just two roads from USMID, and all are full of pronlems over people giving in land without compensation. Leaders in Fortportal need to step up their sensitization to the people educating them how USMID projects don't cover land compensation unless otherwise
