Here's a little tip for anyone as lucky as me... (I came across an OEM '75 front end for FREE) Somebody had cut the frame rails out with a torch. Crossmember and everything with all the suspension. 1 1/2" steel box tubing fits perfectly inside the frame rails if you do some minor trimming. I'm just going to bolt the box tubing in there and use that bolted to the unibody of my rat rod project. Hope that helps anybody who can score what I have if they dont want to buy the kit and do all that welding. I used 3/16 tube so it's really strong. I am basically just bolting this whole front end in with zero fab work. I'm pretty stoked about this because I was dreadding doing all the work you did, although your end result is alot cooler looking to be honest.
Will early 2000's mustang suspension fit on the 3100? I see alot of these mustangs at the pick'n pull yard.

Mustang ll suspension has a long history, all of it driven by the need to fix the problems inherent in the Mustang ll suspension (tiny 4 bolt rotors, inadequate calipers, poor strength, bad geometry and more). It was designed for an economy car.
Many companies make 'Mustang ll' suspension kits with better rotors, spindles, calipers and strength. No Ford parts remain, but the basic geometry (for roll center, contact patch management, scrub radius and so on) is unchanged.
I never use them.
might be a dumb question but I'm an amateur. when you were getting that 2° rake, what what the angle of the frame at the center point? is the frame suppose to be sitting at 0°?
you weld with bare hands; no gauntlets? Even if you don't get hot sparks, what about the UV?
Where do I get the same kit my trucks the same and I like that kit any help here?

I would like to do IFS on my 1954 belvedere. I was told there are kits that can be simply installed,but I need a new steering column. Not as simple as the say it is??
