Thats a good boy you get an E + for effort 😂👍
When coupling to a trailer, line up the outer edge of your drive tires with the outer edge of the trailer and you'll get it right every time. Plus, it looked like your trailer was a bit high which may have contributed to the trouble you had trying to hook up to it...
I thought the trailer was too high & it would never couple but then it did 😭
lower the trailer
Using a phone gps for a truck god bless you
I subscribe to Truckerpath and use their truck GPS as well as Google. Google gets you by, you just have to pay attention
Too high
I would try lowering the trailer more before you back into it to hook up. Many times people crank the trailer too high before they back out leaving it difficult to hook up to the next time. Be safe out there bud
You guy ma guy👊
Your trailer was too high you want it to where u lift the trailer when your backing in. You just had to lower it a tad bit couple cranks
Cool videos. Question about the pretrip, do companies specify how they want you to go about the pre-trip and what they want you to look for etc, or is it all pretty much up to you? Just curious as someone who is taking my CDL test next week and strongly considering getting into food service :)
Hey!
There are some companies that do have a strict policy on doing pre and post trips, but most leave it up to you to find the way you want to do it, just be sure to check what needs checked, oil, coolant, belts, hoses, brakes, tires, lights, etc. Before you use the truck for the day.
I need a new editing app what do you use ? Currently using splice but it’s not smooth enough
I normally use Adobe Premiere on my computer, but for mobile I use PowerDirector and pay monthly for it.
Peoplenet!!
Good ol Peoplenet 🤣
Look in to "hammer" is a free trucker gps. And at the end the trailer was a bit to high. but looking good for a new driver keep it up
Hey thanks for the recommendation!
PFG starts $25hr. It's a joke lol
Great job my guy!
What part of STL are you in.. what Lowe's is that
That was in Kirkwood
Good video keep it up Btw, Do you think we are going to be no longer need it to drive a truck?
No longer need people to drive trucks? I don't think that will really ever happen, automated trucks could be a thing on highways, probably not in our lifetime. But people will always be needed as drivers.
Yo bro. I work at pfg in Iowa at the moment. But I'm actually from St Louis. I don't like pfg up here for a number of reasons. What is it like in St Louis?
I'm not sure how the yard is there, I'm from Springfield, Mo, customers seem pretty cool though
