I F**KIN LOVE THIS SONG AND PERFORMANCE!!! When Steve & Bruce sing together, it gives me chills, everytime!!! They performed this song here in Denver, in 2004, and the arena went wild! 🤘🤘🤘
Great song from the album Dance of Death(2003). One of the bloodiest battles in history. 1917. Janick Gers joined the group with the departure of Adrian Smith in 1990. Bruce left during the 1990's. He came back at the end of the decade and Adrian Smith came back to. The other guitarist is Dave Murray he is in the band since the first album in 1980.
Passchendaele. Been there quite a few times over the years. Nothing much to see there now, but it was the scene of some mighty fights in 1917. The blood of many a young lad has penetrated the soil. Thousands of dead soldiers tainted the landscape. Their cries silenced by the tens of thousands of crosses all along the vast graveyards. Iron Maiden paid witness to those days, in grand fashion. I bow my head to the fallen and wipe away the tears...
You don’t deserve the one thumbs down you got On this reaction. And because your reaction was so pure and honest to someone who has not heard this song before I am going to break my rule and subscribe after watching only one video. I look forward to watching more awesome reactions from you thank you!
Thanks for the reaction. Dive deep into the Maiden catalog. You will find many hidden treasures. You don't have to react to them to enjoy them (although I hope you do.) Check out the Iron Maiden YT channel for some great live performances from their 2017 tour "The Book of Souls."
1 of their best songs... Do any from my favorite 4 albums Somewhere In Time, Powerslave, 7th Son Of A 7th Son, Piece Of Mind... All awesome songs on all those albums... Their prime!!!!!
Who ever Tim is requesting all the songs.. you need to request some B sides, and start with Rainbows Gold! I saw the Dance of Death tour in Philly, Bruce came out and was like "The Philadelphia power company screwed you! You get no Eddie!" And then proceeded to play a kick ass show.

Murray is their best guitarist, he taught Adrian.

Great song, but Bruce was at his zenith at Brave New World at rock at Rio (2001).

They never got any airplay on the radio and it was word of mouth back in the day, can any artist of today sustain that, NO.
React to old Passchendaele by Lee Kernaghan
Or have you done that already it's a different band
