    Nice! My 3.7 needs 3.73’s so bad. You can change the gear ratio on your handheld sctx4 to fix the speedo without interfering with the tune. But yeah especially being auto MPT may need to change to things.

      Just go in like you're gonna tune it and select the option and upload it. If you need further clarification, I made a video about how to tune it with the sct x4, something along the lines of "sct tuning the mustang" for the title. You can easily find it under my Mustang playlist on the channel.

    Hey man, my 3.73s should be here today or tomorrow. With the MPT93PRX tune my MPGs are normally between 24-26mpg unless I'm racing or gunning it all the time. I have the auto just like you, so what MPGs are you getting just regular driving?

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  3 года назад +2

      Lol I average 19-20mpg, but that's because I run the crap out of my car. I literally got the same mileage when I had the stock 2.73's in there, 19-20mpg, but that's because of how hard I constantly drive it. From my research, people lose on average about 2mpg from 3.73's, but that depends on the driver and their route.

      No you should get at least 19mpg. And I already hit 155mph in mine and still had more rpm to go. Can't remember if it was 4th or 5th, but there were defintaley still more gears left. I calculated it and stock it had enough gearing to go like 365mph with infinite power, 3.73's was still over 200mph redlined in 6th so you have plenty of gear.

    Do you always drive with traction off ? I am really scared of Turning it off lol

    • @BuckeyeBallistics
      @BuckeyeBallistics  3 года назад +5

      Yes I turn both traction and stability control off everytime I drive, but that's because I like to drift (slide) and hate when it kicks in and stops me. If you just push the button, it only turns traction control off. If you want to turn both traction & stability control off, you have to hold the brake down and hold the button down for about 10sec and you will see a different message appear saying it is off. If you just turn traction off, it will let the car peel out/spin the tires, *and* it will let it get a little side ways. Once you get too sideways, stability control kicks in and won't let you slide. I hate it, because I know how to control the slide and the stability control always kicks in on me and ruins my slide and makes the car jerk back. If you're scared to turn it off then I would probably just leave it on. I like doing "stupid" stuff in my car and I'm good at it, so I turn it off.

      I'm happy with my 3.73's, really glad I didn't go 3.55's because I still dead hook and go from a stop with good tires on it (no spin with the auto and good tires, just a quick chirp on launch). If I was drag racing on drag radials, I would definately want the 4.10's. But for a daily driver street car on street tires, 3.73's is probably best. If you have a manual, I wouldn't go lower than 3.73 regardless or the constant shifting would become annoying. Just my opinion...
