Oli said in an interview that "Die4u" was a way of saying goodbye to his old habits like smoking and drinking. I think the instant improvement in his voice really shows live

@@Nestorglass u can clearly hear the difference between shadow moses chorus, mantra bridge and parasite eve chorus to tell that parasite eve isn't lip synced at all. Idk if shadow moses is a good example cuz nowadays Oli sings over the backing track but still, here you can hear a lot of voice modulations, fade outs from him pushing the mic away, voice cracks and literally the same audio quality in the whole song

@@pepos2571 It was written and mostly complete prior to COVID, but they scrapped it initially because it felt insensitive to release it then. They went back to it with the context of COVID and finished/released it, thinking it was something that people needed as a catharsis. So yes, and no.

Let's be honest: This is partly playback. Oli's voice in the chorus is recorded in a kind of "live" scenario as playback, unlike previous performances (studio snippets). Especially in the highs you can recognize that. Oli has definitely improved....without a doubt. He works hard on himself. Jordan is pulling back more and more. The guys are brilliant musicians! However, it must be clearly stated that BMTH have strongly rehearsed their live performances (explicitly in longer sets) and the playbacks are used very authentically. It seems much more harmonious in the meantime.
