Contrasting this with 10 to 15 years prior is so stark. Not to complain too much, but the influence that xc racing had on the design of MTBs was overall very negative IMO. The narrow bars and pitched forward position especially. I started riding MTBs as a kid, around 1992, and loved it, but once I was fully grown to quite tall, the riding position was just horrible and the rear axle to saddle horizontal distance so short that I wheelied up every steepish incline.
Fooking awesome! Wienzy FTW! And T - Brown interview plus so many other friends. Love these early 90's classics!
My wrists just hurt watching this! Makes you really appreciate how good we have it with modern bikes! These guys were tough!
Cool!
Thank for shared this video buddy
the speed and terrain difference is very noticable compared with modern races. but i guess they're having fun
Amazing
Great!
Keep the rubber side down!
Mountain bikers today are soft as hell! This is rad!
