This means that if i was to take an inductor and measure it within the dc space, the meter should say "short" but if i measure it within the ac it should give me a reading. The odd thing about it is that dc resistance and Impedance is that we use the same unit for both, but reactance gets thrown into the mix, and you have chaos.
