There is a combo you can do that requires an assist that you can do that will confirm a his distortion but your assist has to be Carmine. Can't believe I'm commenting on this 3 years later but I just thought I'd share this info. Also thanks this helped a lot when I was first starting out.
I’m this combo at 3:58 it’s RIDICULOUSLY hard to do a jump cancel and then the input, however you can TK this input. Essentially by doing the input (214) and then moving one further so we get a jump input (7) and then press the button, you can buffer the Distortion after the jump. The timing is still difficult but it’s made much, much easier then trying to do the regular jump cancel input. In short, doing (2147BC) instead of (214BC) means you dont have to jump cancel if you time it right.
