For me Moonbyul is one of the most versatile artists, every song she has proposed is different from the other both for lyrics and melody and she adapts to each of them, it is fantastic. Also Mamamoo is a group that is very different from the others, they have created a level and space of their own and I love them for that.
they are good but i wouldn't say such exaggerations when there's IU, Heize, Taeyeon, etc. Heize has won award for rap, r&b, and generic pop. 3 different genres. Ailee won best female vocal performance 4 years in row in MAMA 1 year after her debut. Mamamoo as soloists are not even nominated as soloists for awards. most people don't care about them being songwriters, composers, and producers. most people want to hear them sing.

Moonbyul has released alot of music in 2022 and started off with her 6equence album, where there are 6 songs depicting a love story. The title song of that album is called: "Lunatic" Next, she released CITT - cheese in the trap. It has Avril Lavigne vibes!! Moonbyul and Solar also has a sub-unit called Mamamoo+ and they released a song called "Better". The last song moonbyul released last year was "Present" where she always sings a song yearly on her birthday as a gift to moomoos (Mamamoo fandom name) Would be super glad to see you check out more Mamamoo and more of their solo stuffs!! I really respect Eclipse, the whole album infact. Moonbyul did something other female idol might not want to do. Genderless music & choreo. The risk she took not following regular kpop girl standard. I hope someday she will come back to this Moonbyul which i think the real her.
now that she's doing solo songs and can sing more than 4-8 bars that she sing in Mamamoo she only sung 5 bars in the 1st verse and there's no 2nd verse. the song is too long without a 2nd verse and it gets boring and repetitive. it's not a bad song but it's not good either. it's somewhere in the middle.
