Nice video. How long can you leave your dinghy unattended while on the island? Does it need to be at a certain dock? Newbie here.
Thank you! From our experience you can leave your dinghy on the dinghy dock for the day. Overnight is not allowed. The dock is for dinghies 14 feet or smaller and it is recommend to use dinghy locks, but we have never locked our dinghy or had any issues. We have used the dock on the pier and during busy summer months we have seen the dinghy dock near the Tuna Club open and have used that as well. Have a great time, we are headed to Two Harbors in two weeks!! Cheers!
Always loved going to Catalina since the late 60's. Glad to see they are patroling our waters. Nothing is safe like it used to be. Great video.
We really started traveling to Catalina over the last 4 years. You are so right, things have definitely changed. Thanks for watching!!!
I love Catalina. One of my grandsons is a native Catalonian. I too like the Sandtrap for Happy hour.
What a unique experience to grow up on Catalina. I bet your grandson has some great memories. The Sandtrap is such a great little gem. You cannot beat the vibe, food & price.
Great video - poor John! Catalina looks beautiful
Thanks!!! Appreciate you!
Going to Catalina in September.
Used to be just a short trip but now we live in Idaho.
You picked the right place to go on your trip to California. Have a great time! While you are there keep a look out for No Plans. We usually like to moor near the Tuna Club.
It LINE not “rope”, sorry
