      Thank you! This level of awesomeness wouldn't be possible without your incredible products! I really mean that... I'd bought several before we'd even started collaborating, which is why it's so great to recommend products I really believe in! Thank you for your ongoing support of the channel!

    Normal people demonstrate this in a 1.2 clio or a first time driver car.. this guy does it a Ferrari 😂 awesome video Antony!! I’m not sure why anyone would put both hands on top unless there is something seriously concerning 😂

      Haha thanks man! Mate, seen the hands on top the wheel more when people are on the motorway. Still, doesn't seem right in that situation! Honestly, most people's strong discipline is terrible.

      Thanks bro! So frustrating when riding passenger on fast roads and people's hands are all over the wheel. But you can't really say anything, because nobody likes a back seat driver! 😆

    the 4K HDR sold me, such a big difference

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  2 года назад

      Active HDR really helps with the considerable contrast between the interior and exterior of the car. One thing, it's not recommended to use in low light. It comes into it's own at sunrise and sunset though, like in the shots where I'm first hitting the road. Looks epic!

    Once upon a time; back when it was possible to see Dinosaurs roaming the Earth; I'm sure that the 10 to 2 position is what was recommended/taught. Most of the vehicles I drove back then did not have power steering. I'm not saying that the quarter to three is wrong by any means; in fact it makes a lot of sense.
    No issues/argument here. There are too many out there who have picked up bad habits so it makes a nice change to see an upload of this nature 🐜🕸🕷.

      It's amazing how many younger people I see using 10&2, people who've probably never driven a car without power steering. Glad you approve! And, like I said, I've got bad habits too... After this video, I'm going to have to work even harder to avoid them myself lol

    My wife actually thinks I'm driving like a noob because I keep my hands on 3 and 9. She thinks that experienced drivers drive with one hand 😏

      Oh wow. A bit of the dunning-kruger effect maybe? 🤔😁 Well, now you can say you hold the wheel like the most skilled drivers - racing drivers! 😎

    Great video!
    One issue I have with the 370Z is if I put the seat where it’s good for my legs then my hands will be fully stretched and there is no way to move the steering wheel closer. So I just keep my seat closer and settle for a non optimal seating position. I’m 185cm tall, a shorter person would likely find a good position.

      Thanks! Appreciate you watching!
      Yeah, even I find it difficult getting a good position in the 370z.
      There's spacer kits available. Could one of those help? Want me to make a video on that?

      @@sportzntouring I’ve seen some install a spacer kit on their Z here in Finland but personally didn’t like how it changes the look, I’d rather suffer from sub-optimal ergonomics 😅

    Seriously awesome video. I named my channel 9and3 because of my frustration watching other drivers. Also love your Audi GT. I’ve got a 2023 build slot for a UK GT so you can have a drive and review if you like when it arrives.

      Ha ha! Awesome! You're getting The R8 V10 GT RWD? Nice! (Did you see my video on that though?) - short version, it looks like it will be an amazing car but I don't think it should have the GT badge... They really haven't gone far enough IMHO... Still, would love to have a go as I know it will likely be the best gen2 r8 ever made :-)

    I feel both the 10-2 and the feeding the wheel through your hand on a hairpin are relics of old cars without power steering, where the added leverage helped the car around the corner. But in modern cars with power steering this isn’t necessary

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  2 года назад

      Really interesting perspective! Feeding the wheel in slow driving kinda makes sense still, and is recommended for beginners. Partly because crossing your arms is harder for learners to get right and they say it's also to keep arms clear of the airbag (should it deploy). 10 & 2 feels like I've got less leverage but I guess I've very little experience in cars without power steering so you've probably got a very valid point there.

      @@sportzntouring I haven't had much experience in any cars! but thats the way my grandad drives and he spent most of his years in 70s & 80s bangers. I also remember a video (I believe by car throttle) explaining why they still teach this in driving schools. It may also be to do with the size of the wheel, old car wheels are massive to account for that lack of power steering

      Ahhh, I'll look for that video. Thanks for watching. And appreciate the comments 👍
