I think it's great that they are putting out good budget phones because not everyone can afford the flagships and the cheaper phones gets better and better every year
I just got one and I enjoy it so far. I use it for games and youtube. I haven't experienced slow performance yet, but my last phone was a J3. It feels like a big upgrade to me haha.
I've been rocking and iPhone for about 6 years now. Right now I own an IPhone 11. I was having some problems wt it and had to get me something,real fast. I saw the A12 and the price was just right for an emergency backup phone. WOW!!!! Let me tell you. This $180 phone kicks major ass for the price. I'm in my 3rd week of using it and seriously thinking about switching to Samsung. The A12 does quite a number of thing that Apple is only now playing around with or really can't do. And this is at a $200 price point. I also was able to upgrade the storage to just under 300 gigs for just $40 dollars. I can put it down I tell yah.. lol 😆 You did a great job of reviewing this very powerful little phone. Thank you so much. Oh, and wh where can I find that wallpaper?
The Australian version has 4gb of ram and 128gb of internal storage with up to 1tb of external storage. My mother needs a new phone to replace her S5 so I think this will be great for her. It's $299 here in Oz.

How do I get separate ringtones for selected contacts ? In my old Galaxy S3 this was quite easy, but on the A12 I haven't been able to figure it out. Select ringtone only seems to apply to all numbers.
@@2kchallengewith4video eh I'm more super AMOLED + exynos fan and if you ask me if it's good? yeah but even though my a12 is not AMOLED witch very disappointing it still takes better photos and videos and my games that I downloaded eh not so much because my a20 has the best colors and I do wish that Samsung upgrade the a20 to a higher resolution of 1080p instead of 720p since it's AMOLED

Just got this from HSN. $149 with 1 year of Tracfone 1500 minutes + 1500 texts. AND free shipping. Why would someone but this for same price than anywhere else The minutes and texts roll over.. i'm always surprised that reviews of this phone never menton. HSN. (BTW you get extra discourage if your first purchase from HSN. Good video though
This is one of the worst budget phones from Samsung. Bought one for $179. I was able to put up with it for about 3 days and got rid of it for $135. Slow Helio P35 processor. Heated up constantly. The tiny fingerprint scanner/power button already hardly works by itself. It's even worse with a case on. Want to check the time real quick? Here's your unlocked home screen. The square camera setup looks unattractive and cheap. So does the back pattern. The battery, even for a 5000mah, is terrible. It took quite a long time to drop from 100 to 99 but that's where the battery starts to go downhill. There's excessive heat on the back near the camera which causes the battery drain and makes it uncomfortable to hold. The display will mess up your eyes. The speaker, oh the speaker, it sounds weird and tunneled and will cause you to wonder if you have hearing problem. Volume 1 to 14 are so much the same that from switching from 14 to 15 like switching from a whisper to a med crazed Karen shouting. Now you'd say what do you expect? It's a budget phone. It's 179 dollars. You shouldn't expect more than what you paid for. Well guess what? A20 released years ago at exactly the same price. And it packed more performance and power than this.
Hey it's resolution it's self mine came with 1920p 1080p it's self huge upgrade and I'm very happy with it you don't see anybody complain about A12 it's a very good phone it's just the colors aren't accurate like my a20 does
@@securitybase3430 me neither but on next upgrade I'm probably going to upgrade more cuz the A12 needs compatible speed and this what I look at I should've research more of what phone I normally want cuz really I was going to get a51 5g. But they didn't have any on metro so now I'm with the A12 it's a very good phone but the speed is really slow
No gryoscope, missing other sensors, screen is super touchy will press buttons on screen from your own breath, gets really annoying. O stars DO NOT BUY!!! 350$ AVERAGE RIP

I have to say i´m pretty impressed by the camera. Looks decent for the price range and the audio of the videos is very nice.
