A Rainy Day At Volcano Bay, Exploring Cabana Bay, And A CityWalk Dinner!

- Brennan and I started off the first full day of our Cabana Bay birthday celebration staycation with a trip to Volcano Bay! We had some donuts in the room and then walked over to the Cabana Bay entrance, with a trip straight to the Dancing Dragons bar! After getting a locker, we took a few trips in the fearless river, rode the Taniwha Tubes and the Ohno/Ohyah slides, and grabbed some lunch before heading back to our room (due to the intense weather). We freshened up, took a trip around the resort to see how it's changed since our last stay (which I ran back and got the camera to record), and then went to CityWalk to meet up with our friends for dinner at Antojitos (and of course donuts from VooDoo Donut). Totally agree that things are empty and eery to walk around. I just stayed at ak lodge and vlogged how empty it is. It’s very sad and I am enjoying and embracing it but at the same time can’t wait for a more normal experience.
We were there today & you can go up towards the slides in the volcano to just walk in the volcano. It puts you out by the aqua coaster.
