Just a glimpse into making a personalised 30 x 18 inch leather desk mat.
3-3.2 mm Lamport in mid tan from Metropolitan Leather

The personalisation is taken from handwritten notes from the recipients family. This was converted from paper based to a digital file then laser engraved.
A fair bit of hand sewing in this commission. lovely big piece. I hope they like it.
