The no debt approach is still possible just slower. For example you can still get a mortgage without a credit history if you chose a debt free lifestyle with a Manual Underwriting. Credit Score is just an Automated Underwriting. In the long run the no debt approach will yield you more income since you have no debt payments and purchasing everything in cash but again it’s a slower approach.

I understand what you are saying and it works 100%… in a perfect world. In reality, rent or mortgage is over $2000 a month itself. Don’t forget about the down payment if you buy a house. How about a car or truck? How about food? how about insurance? How about gas? There is no way that at my age, 22, I can plan to “retire” in 5 years. I don’t even have a truck that can make it from A to B. And I work 60 hours a week and own a business on top of that. Still regardless, what you say makes sense, the reality is it’s not the 1940s anymore, this is 2023 where the state of the economy has destroyed any chance of someone my age making any significant progress towards a successful future given the projection of prices verses stagnant wages.

    • @FaiThEisTT

No question with inflation it is much more challenging for young people to get ahead so the moral is to take the side path. Don't do what everyone is doing, because it's a road to mediocrity (even if it means you have to comprimise).
The more you learn about how to make money work for you the less taxing it becomes. Remember it's a marathon not a sprint.
Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders for 22.
The earlier you invest the better your retirement portfolio will look.
It is 100% possible because despite the current economic forcast there are still volumes of young people progressing financially. You'll get there.

    • @FaiThEisTT
      @FaiThEisTT Год назад +4

@@bocatcc uh no I responded exactly to what he is talking about, which is that it is harder to get ahead in 2023 than in 1940, which is entirely 100% false. We have more resources for financial success available to us today than we ever did in history. The idea that "the economy" has destroyed any chance of a young person making any significant progress towards a successful future is not true at all. There are a ton of young and middle aged people who are financially successful in the same economy. Try to be more respectful when you have no idea what you are talking about. Again I enjoy your videos, but your numbers are not reality for most people. 750K invested 2500 a month return, that’s great but in order to live off 2500 a month you need to be mortgage free and if you are paying rent where I live a 2 bed goes for over 2k a month…Problem
    Burn rate agreed
    Side hustle agreed
Save agreed (most family income is less than 90K a year, most have less than 30K in savings today 750K in 5 years?)
Invest agreed, but unless you have a decent amount to invest a 5 year plan is a pipe dream
Build a business, this one made me laugh, we all know most businesses fail in the first year and can take up to 3 years to profit (maybe) just because you are great at a job does not mean you can run a business. I have been self employed for many years and one has nothing to do with the other.
You asked why I thought it was silly, this is why…..5 years is not realistic in any way unless you have a really good head start and I don’t believe those are the people you are talking too.
Again I really enjoy your videos!

    After taxes.
Well...call me stupid, but If I was earning 150k net a year I dont think Id stop that occupation after only 5 years, to go live on less than 20% of that income.

❤ I need your help. I've devoted my whole life to helping others and find myself at 59 with no retirement saved. I'm watching for a Black Friday special and praying that I will have the guts too invest in learning how to invest. I admire you so much. Love from the Las Vegas area I hope you and your family are doing well. God bless❤
