1) Battery life, battery efficiency, how long does it last 2) software; to what degree is it bloated and how good is the software, what issues did you run into 3) How good are the cameras and the usability in every day life. Where does it really fall short, does it replicate good color, is the image sharp, how good the portrait, how good is it at just point and shoot. 4) how good is at everyday task and how it handles everyday apps

The Dimensity 9400 actually has a waaaay better GPU, also it's balanced cores makes it more battery efficient plus it manages heat well. The SD 8 Elite has magic powers with the CPU 'coz of its exaggerated Oryon Cores, because it's extra beafed up the battery is also a lil' strained out. So saying the 8 Elite is faster than the Mediatek D-9400 is a serious over-simplification
