I just love how the moment where Sam finds her voice and the power to leave happens before she gets her happily ever after, like, yes, she gets Austin, the restaurant and her college back but she was going to be fine and she was going to fight back no matter what. Her getting all that back is wonderful but knowing she had already gain her freedom its just... CINEMA
I think she could have done it a lot sooner but she was reminded of what her dad taught her. So when she remembered her dad's saying that's when she finally stood up for herself
