Can't see any comments about it, and you didn't seem to catch on while playing, so thought I'd point out that the enemies spawn from the red cells, so a lot of the times when you were trying to rush the extractor to get the impact trigger and level up, if you had taken different path, you wouldn't have been surrounded.
That one run he had vampire (+1 heal on kill) lasted over 7 minutes vs the runs with him saying im relying on hearts to heal because "heal on kill isn't that good” averaged around 2 and a half minutes.
Then again, the vampire skill relies on taking damage to do something. Just killing everything before you get hurt makes it completely useless. And at some point you might wanna prioritize damage over defense by the sheer number of enemies
You also need to keep in mind that health also acts as secondary fuel in this game as well, so having heal on kill pulls double duty, preventing you from dying from enemies and your own fuel consumption.
The way each S upgrade seemed to be specifically in synergy with the way you built each passive/weapon makes me think there are different S upgrade based on which upgrade you put at level 3. For example, the mortar got cluster bombs, which synergize with increasing Count, the very skill you put at level 3 first. But I wonder if the game would have offered you something else if you had maxed the Nuke upgrade first.
There’s an orange light on the skill cards after getting an s rank skill, there’s also some greyed out dots that unlock at some point so it definitely seems like there are some options
Wander went out committing to an honorable number puzzle. Very honorable indeed, good sir! 🙂 Just make sure you don't try to look for a book of sepuku puzzles. You won't make it past the first. 😉
This game looks quite fun. Longevity through variety is a concern but we also don't have a price point for the game. Its unique take on the genre is really cool regardless.
can you try swarm survivors? It's a dark horror swarm shooter where you don't really shoot the swarm, you need to find a way to escape it. it might be a fresh air of the vampire-survivor-esq survivors
@@wanderbots it kills any challenge for me, at least until you max it out, and usually by that time I’m already bored by the concept :/ I think it’s the worst part of this genre

Grenade launcher launching nukes? Rock and stone
Rock and stone to the bone!
DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE?!?!
FOR ROCK AND STONE!!! oT
FOR KARL!
Rock and stone brotha!!

@@HuslWusl I thought it was healing on kill. His 30m run he got lucky with the upgrades but also was a lot more conservative with activating enemies.
@Aaron Yes it is healing on kill but unless there's some use to it when on full health, there's an issue with it
@@HuslWusl healing on kill is more reliable than waiting for hearts to drop

This looks cool! More of this is what this genre needs

Count was on arsenal, and I doubt it pulls upgrades from other perks/weapons. It could be influenced by stats, though

I think the way the super upgrade is chosen based off which upgrade was maxed out, making it relative to the maxed upgrade
I really enjoy the concept for this game, I'd love to see more of it when it fully releases!
Richochet says it does reduced damage - though it doesn't give any details!
looked like the 2nd hit was 50%
I feel like a max burst ricochet chain gatling might be amazing.
Wow, this game is turning out so well. Kudos to the dev(s). 🙂
This game looks incredible, really original game. It does seem a little too hard at the moment so I don't think I would ever be able to win a game xD
so original! its the same game that has come out in a thousand different iterations over the last year

kinda looks like 20 minutes til dawn
this looks like a fun game cant wait for it to com out
Yo brother!
I'd love to see a Bullet Heaven Tier-list at some point!
attack speed is a multiplier, the 35% is not
You said honorable sudoko 😂😂 its sepuku lol.
ill be honest game looks cool
upgrade look fine
but in action all upgrades seem very meh and underwhelming
I hope this comes to xbox
It's a bullet hell. Stop calling it bullet heben.
what does your dad do again?
Why so many of those cool games have meta-progression..? Just why…
Cause Vampire Survivors had it, and people get angry when new games don't. It's very silly.

@@KajtekBeary It depends on the game IMO. Nordic Ashes & Rogue Genesia do it well. Most of the rest have no idea how to do it well and it shows.
feel the need to point out 30% of 6 would still be 6 if it doesn't round up
Wouldn't it be 7 or 8 (with rounding), since it's a +30% bonus?
...Take a sec, open a calculator (phone app or computer, your choice), and type in 6 * 1.3. Let us know what it says. We'll wait.
30% of 6 (just move the decimal place to the left one [.6]) *3 is 1.8 brotatochip.
