In the 1925 Lost World movie the scene where the Brontosaurus and T Rex fight it was shown in The Making Of Walking With Dinosaurs BBC and The Making Of Jurassic Park
Hey Jack, one early short subject you should check out if you haven't is The Dinosaur and the Missing Link; it's a stop-motion film created by Willis O' Brien, one of his earliest works.
If you are looking for longer versions of the Lost World, distributed by Image Entertainment and Black-hawk Films is a full 93 minutes long and has two scenes that were found in Eastern Europe not too long before its release (a scene of the brontosaurus disturbing a poker game by sneaking its head in, and one of it swimming away after the rampage). It's the copy I own and I suggest finding it if you can (though it's a US release, I don't know if there's one for Region 2).
majingojira true but it is nice to see the entire film finally completed with no more lost footage. I do hope some youtbers get together and make a version with sound for the films 100th anniversary.
There are a couple of other Fino movies that I have not come across in your reviews they are 'Unknown Island 1948' which I believe was the first Colour Dino flick 'One Million B.C. 1940, Two Lost Worlds 1951, 'King Dinosaur 1955, 'The Lost World 1960 and 'The Last Dinosaur 1977, not saying that are all good but you might be interested in viewing them and telling us what u think.
Thanks for watching dude. I list the ones you've mentioned in the last Jurassic June video. I selected 30 to talk about because theres 30 days in June, and I set myself the task of reviewing one film per day. Maybe some day I'll talk about the ones I missed.
You really should try to get your hands on the Image Entertainment version of this film. It is more fully restored, and the soundtrack and picture quality are immeasurably better. Makes the whole viewing experience more complete.
I think there were a couple of TV Movies or direct to video that were released (one of them was made by the guys who made 'Walking with Dinosaurs' & was filmed in New Zealand & starred Peter Falk & Bob Hoslins as Challenger.

I got this movie as an 11-year-old with the 1-hour version on VHS. Great birthday present.
I watched the movie. It was good (even though it was silent but it was still good), and I'm going to read the novel.
