Nice vid. But it hurts me lots to see all those Volvos tear to pieces at the same rocky corner. Must be some bad track layout. Race managers can't be interested in too many wrecks.

Three things I've learned:
Those old Volvo 740's were shit when it came to handling.
Sweden is still full of them.

now we know what happens to all the used volvos in sweeden.they are bought & destroyed by people who have proven they shouldnt be driving them.if you cant handle a volvo, what can you handle? maybe a 1960 vw beetle?

Seems that the favourite way how to get rid of old Volvo is to make it a "rally" car and smash it into pieces. BTW is there any prize for the person who reaches the crashed car first? They are running like mad to them.

In Australia all our Volvo drivers are about the same, go much slower but still manage to get the shiny side onto the ground

Yes, I understand that I am watching a Swedish car crash compilation, but is seems as though A large number of Volvo’s simply don’t manage curves or the straightaways as well as their suspensions are designed to do. However!!!!!!! I think if I were to be in a car crash compilation a Volvo would be the safest car. Maybe their distinct styling make them stand out over the rest.
Since 60-75% of entries are Volvos, of course they crash more. :)
Event on Saturday (this week): 161 Entries, 90 of them are Volvos.
All those old Saabs in the closed course racing rolling on their roofs without one collapse, old Volvo's also. Never had a Volvo, I did have a couple 900's though. Built like a tank.
