I watched this at 6:30 am and fell back asleep before I commented. This turned out great. People watch the video, it's possible to put a screen protector on.
Hello great content ? Did you remove the inner screen protector and replaced with the one you installed or did you put over old one mine is scratched but one plus says they would void warranty if removed I would have to send in phone to have it replaced don't like that 😔 thank yo. Ok i see you installed over old one but mine is scratched
Thanks for the video. I have a question. So the screen protector you removed at 1:45, is that the one that came with it? I already have bubbles under my One plus Open cover screen after two days and I was afraid that this was not a screen protector but a functional part of the screen so that touch input would work. So I'm afraid to remove it.
Yes at 1:07 I mentioned I was removing the original protector. This is the one that came on the phone. I didn't remove the one on the inside. It has a protective layer that helps with glare etc. There is nothing special about the one I removed. Thanks for watching
My factory screen protector started peeling up on the inside display so I ordered and installed a matte one. So far there's a bunch of little bubble and some lines. Supposedly it'll dissipate within 48 hours. I also see on white backgrounds a glowing type affect on the screen. It's not clear. Is that how it's supposed to be?
@@GadgetGoddess yeah I figured I need to give it 24 to 48 hours to see. It's like a rainbow type affect rather than glowing. Something to that affect. You get the idea
Definately personal preference. I have always loved matte especially on foldables. The creases seem to not show as much and a lot less fingerprints especially on my pixel fold. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and watch the video though it is greatly appreciated.
@@GadgetGoddessok I'm used to my Pixel Fold I can't see it like with my Z Fold 3 plus the form factor is so much better to get me let go my note phones for 10 years.
Once I went to that form factor with the oppo find n 1 and 2 I didn't think I would come back to this one. Funny thing is this is the oppo find n3 and so many people asked if I was going to get it and I said no it's not the right form factor. I thought I'd try it due to the trade in deals and I can't put it down. The pixel fold is almost perfect just a bit too heavy. I wish it were slightly more narrow and lighter like the oppos
I'm not sure which screen you are asking me about. The phone is yours to do what you wish. I only removed the front screen protector and replaced it. As stated in the video I left the inside protector on.
Bad bad bad idea to install on top of the inner protector. Haven't seen many people mess with the inner one on the Open but i've seen plenty of Folds killed doing this because the increased thickness of the 2 causes screen failures. Not only are you doubling thickness using 2 a lot of cheap ones aren't the correct thickness to begin with.
Have you had any issues since putting on the inside screen protector? I have some on order but unsure now.
Never have with any of my foldables that I've done this with in the past. Don't have any with this one thus far. Thanks for the question.
6 hours later the install looked perfect to my eyes. Great job as usual!
Shocker to me as well good morning happy Friday ma'am! Thanks for watching

Lol 🤣 it's possible to mess it up and still have it come out right. Thanks for watching
Thx for the recommendation, just got mine yesterday, installed great, so happy to get rid of the front screen stock dust magnet screen protector.
Awesome to hear. Glad it worked for you. I'm still loving mine on both screens no issues so far. Thanks for watching! 👍🏽
I wasn't so sure in the beginning lol. But you redeemed your perfect record. Nice install.
Who you telling lol 🤣 I was like this one might not make it. Lmfao 🤣 thanks for watching
4:59, sounds like agressive smooching 😂

I see you answered your own question.
You still may want to layer it to see if that covers the imperfection.
Thanks for the video. I have a question.

Matte has a different effect but it shouldn't be glowing or rainbow. Once everything settles see if it still glows.
@@GadgetGoddess yeah I figured I need to give it 24 to 48 hours to see. It's like a rainbow type affect rather than glowing. Something to that affect. You get the idea
@@joshslaw2203 yes I do and some have told me this and I've told them to reapply. But wait and see.
Any issues putting on the case that comes with the phone with the screen protector in the front?
No issues with the factor case or my carbon fiber. I actually replaced this screen protector before I got the carbon fiber case.
I don't like the matt finish I like clear better but each they own . I love my Pixel Fold always Whitestone just on my outside. But still look nice.

is it just me or did you just clean the old screen protector real well then ripped it right off?
No it's not you... It's habit. Being it's not edge to edge in my mind it makes sense lol
Thanks for watching 🤣😅
Hey can i peel the default screen protector already installed in phone? And is the screen protector already installed in Second screen

@@GadgetGoddess i mean if i remove the front screen protector will the warranty be void?
@@RajatAgarwal-xr6qq It is a regular screen protector on the front. Not sure why that would void the warranty
loving my oneplus open
Same but I expected as much... It's oppo and I love oppo.

I've done this on almost every foldable I own with zero failures. Thanks for watching.
