As an ending point for the cast, and the final moment of the relationships between Hero and Zero Two it's quite bitter Sweet. It's not what I was hoping for in an ending, but I still accept it, for as sad it was, the ending struck me as profoundly beautiful. And also manage to teach me something. It taught me this "no journey is perfect, but that doesn't mean you are not allowed to find beauty in the imperfections." In conclusion, for me, Darling in the Franxx is simply the best, and it's managed to ingrain itself into my heart.
