- Unter den Linden is one of Berlin's most famous boulevards, stretching approximately 1.5 kilometers from the Brandenburg Gate to the Berlin Cathedral. Lined with linden trees, which give the avenue its name, it has been a central artery of Berlin life since the 17th century. This historic boulevard is surrounded by iconic landmarks, including the State Opera House, Humboldt University, Altes Palais, and the German Historical Museum. It’s a hub of culture and history, perfect for a leisurely stroll or sightseeing. Today, Unter den Linden remains a symbol of Berlin’s grandeur, blending its rich past with vibrant modernity.
