This historic boulevard is surrounded by iconic landmarks, including the State Opera House, Humboldt University, Altes Palais, and the German Historical Museum. It’s a hub of culture and history, perfect for a leisurely stroll or sightseeing. Today, Unter den Linden remains a symbol of Berlin’s grandeur, blending its rich past with vibrant modernity.

The Bundestag was created in 1949 with the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany), replacing earlier parliamentary bodies such as the Reichstag. After German reunification in 1990, the Bundestag became the parliament of the entire, united Germany. The term "Bundestag" means "Federal Diet" and reflects its role as a national legislature.
